Please share your ideas, your photos and your horror stories relating to setting a perfect table.
Dinnerware sets take up a lot of space, so for me it doesn't really make sense to purchase a set for special occasions. I have some, but alternating sets can become a burden and storing it is another challenge.
When it comes to dinnerware, many who share my view prefer solid colored dishes because it is very versatile and can be used to decorate the table for many purposes.
Here are some of my ideas for decorating using solid dinnerware and holiday dinnerware.
Black dinnerware can be used for a romantic dinner with black stemmed champagne glasses and a red rose centerpiece, with candles of course. By adding orange accessories, it can be used for a Halloween party, or red dinnerware accessories can be used for Valentines Day or Christmas dinner.
Clear glass dinnerware or white dinnerware sets are also resourceful choices. They can be used in multiple seasons and throughout the holidays by adding a few choice pieces of colored glass dinnerware accessories.
For some, holiday dinnerware is a necessity. I buy that because it can really make the holidays feel special, and it makes wonderful heirlooms to be passed down through the family.
Ideas using Christmas dinnerware sets, Thanksgiving dinnerware and Easter dinnerware are much in demand. All of the holiday decorating ideas I have seen this season are phenomenal!
For special occasions, like a wedding, it only makes sense to use disposable dinnerware. With many guests, using fine china is a bit pricey. Fancy disposable dishes are available and they look a lot like fine china at first glance. They are perfect for do-it-yourself catering with style.
