Square dinnerware is very modern and makes a wonderful table setting. Neutral or white dinnerware sets can be used on any table and accentuated with table décor for everyday use, special occasions and holidays.

Personally, I like the solid colored dishes and I really like neutral colors because of their versatility. I'm really thinking of getting a solid-white dinnerware set with both round and square dishes to open up the possibilities of creating original table settings that differ from dinner to dinner.

I also like solid black dishes as they are easily adaptable to fit into any type of table décor; however, white ware makes the food the main attraction which can be good if you take the time to create culinary art for special occasions. I would love to do that every day, but time restraints prevent it. However, owning dishes that present that opportunity is wonderful.
