Bennington Potters

Bennington Potters is a United States producer of pottery dinnerware, stoneware dinnerware sets, bakeware, and serving pieces. They also sell gift items, like the Vermont Cheese Board Set or maple syrup. Pure maple syrup from Vermont is simply delicious. If you haven't tried it, you need to.

What is exceptional about this Vermont-based company is that their pottery and stoneware products are hand-made by potters who are experienced in the craft. This hand-made notion sets the pottery apart from the rest. Each piece is distinctive and unique, and together they make awesome table settings.  I am particularly impressed by the design of their products.

Dinnerware Made in the USA by Bennington Potters

If you are prone to buying American-made products, supporting the Potters of Bennington is ideal.  The dinnerware and kitchen accessories are hand-made and they are just beautiful.

You can order a classic 16 piece dinnerware set, or you can order items piece by piece and customize your own dinnerware set. On certain pieces, you can even choose the glaze that is used. That is pretty spectacular.

In addition to the dinnerware, the bakeware line is very fashionable. Just to name a few, they produce batter bowls, stoneware muffin and pie plates, covered casserole dishes, and my favorite, the heart-shaped baker. They also offer a bakeware set at a reasonable price that would be great for a wedding gift for a couple who is just starting out.

The tall trigger mugs are very neat. Using tumblers to match dinnerware would be a great idea for a kitchen and dining area decked out in stoneware pottery. Another original piece is the "Antique Style" lemonade pitcher. It would look great on a table and stoneware pitchers do keep beverages cold for longer than glass or plastic.  The Farmhouse Presentation Bowl is very down to earth.  It looks wonderful in the matte finish displaying fresh apples. 

I would really like to collect pottery dinnerware from Bennington Potters. I am all for American made. Pottery is nice because you can mix and match which is great.

I can't decide whether I like the matte glazes, the blue agate glaze or the Mount Equinox glaze best. Mount Equinox is definitely unique and it's featured in their limited edition products. That is a good note to collectors.
